Shocking statistics on agriculture-related fires.

 There were 50% more fires this year compared to last year.

Area of standing grain burned between January and July:

In 2021: 70.77 ha

In 2022: 650.51 ha

Area burned by fire between January and July:

In 2021: 139.4 ha

In 2022: 595,58 ha

Compared to last year, the number of agricultural machines destroyed by the fire was lower, but the number of harvesters burnt out was one and a half times higher than last year.

Since 24 June, a fire ban has been in force in 6 counties (Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Csongrád-Csanád, Hajdú-Bihar, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg). 
 

In the heat, it's best not to light a fire at all.
