A unique collection for agricultural machinery lovers, thousands of old agricultural machines can be found in the historical part of Mezőkövesd, in the Hajdu Ráfis János Agricultural Machinery Museum.
The collection of agricultural machinery has been developed into a museum since 1979, where visitors can find machines in excellent condition.
The museum covers an area of around 5,000 square metres and have more than 3,000 machines, including locomotives, steam and diesel tractors, horse-drawn vehicles, fire-fighting equipment, water power engines, generating sets, threshing machines, seed cleaners and grinders.
The museum's founder also said that the very first machine he bought was, surprisingly, not a tractor but an old sawmill.
