HS-20DS63K Petrol & Electric, Log splitter with petrol+electric engine, double action, 20 tons

The Jansen HS-20DS63K double action log splitter has been made to our specifications and is a small revolution in the world of log splitting. This machine splits in both directions (both in the forward and return phases!) and as a result you can work twice as fast! Gone is the “empty” return phase, thus less energy is needed which makes this model far more effective! It has a real splitting force of 20 tons (17 tons in return phase) a very robust and high-grade 2.2kW electric engine and an very robust, high-quality 6.5 HP Kohler gasoline engine.
The hydraulic pump is driven by a very robust, high-quality 6.5 HP Kohler petrol engine or a powerful electric motor (400V, 2.2 kW). You can freely choose between electric drive or petrol drive.
Required components for conversion and operation in petrol or electric mode are also included. After final assembly of the splitter, the respective unit (petrol engine/electric motor) can be used directly without additional changeover time.
In the log splitters, the splitting force is measured directly at the splitting wedge so that this value corresponds to the actual fitting splitting force. Many other sellers give unrealistic values here, such that are never achieved in practice.
Thanks to its horizontal construction, you always have the wood at working height. The hydraulics are very fast. A complete forward phase takes a mere 7 seconds.
This splitter chops up almost any piece of wood. The length of the log to be split can measure up to 60 cm. The latest highlight, however, is the possible combination operation! That is, you operate the splitter either with the 6.5 hp gasoline engine or the electric motor. Depending on the place of use, you are thus ready for action accordingly.
The log splitter is easy to operate. You can start the engine simply by pulling the recoil starter cord, and it even starts well in below freezing temperatures. For the electric motor you only need a suitable cable and power connection.
Along with the splitter we deliver a free of charge 4-way wedge, which can be simply pushed over the splitting wedge. This 4-way splitting wedge can be simply pushed over the wedge. The 4-way wedge is 20 cm long and 15 cm high.
