The Jansen SW-200 towed spreader (or gritter, grit spreader, fertiliser spreader) has a holding capacity of 200 litres and can be towed behind a quad, passenger car, tractor and even a lawn tractor by using its tow bar assembly. There is an greased gearbox (metal interior) on the axle of the salt/fertiliser spreader, which transfers axle rotation to the shaft of the agitator. In this way, the spreading function is enabled by towing the spreader and an independent driving mechanism is not necessary. The draw bar is height adjustable and can be optimally adjusted to the height of your trailer hitch.
The spreading width can be set at any width up to 8 metres. You can count on a reliable performance from this spreader in summer, and even more so in winter!
