AdBlue® an aqueous urea solution made with 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water. It is standardised as AUS 32 (aqueous urea solution) in ISO 22241. Diesel exhaust fluid DEF is used as a consumable in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in order to lower NOx concentration in the diesel exhaust emissions from diesel engines. The urea solution is clear, non-toxic and safe to handle. However, it can corrode some metals and so must be stored and transported carefully. The optimal solution for storage and distribution of AdBlue is the JFC AdBlue range of tanks. Our HDPE tanks are designed to withstand corrosion and all weather conditions. With our bunded tank option we can offer an insulated inner tank with Automatically Controlled Heating & Cooling system. This makes the JFC AdBlue tanks perfect for storing AdBlue in countries where extreme weather conditions exist. All parts and fittings of the distribution system used in the JFC AdBlue tanks are chemical resistant, providing a long term and safe storage solution for many years.
